I've been playing around with the general idea of Suicide Show for a while, so now that I've finally gotten it done, I'm pretty happy! I went back and edited most of my previous writing -- the old stuff still makes me cringe. But seeing the improvement I've made in the past year... I'm very proud of myself.

Now that it's the new year, I'll keep trying my best. Hopefully I'll keep learning as I go!

All right, I slept all day, but ever since I got up, I've been working! Here are two of the things I'm working on: The first, Swallow the Stars, is a companion to the last piece I wrote, Nowhere Boy. And then the second, Peach, is going to be a little like Body of a Star, I guess.

And then I have like fifty billion other things that are also unfinished, so. ;__; Yeah.

It's been a while! I've been pretty busy lately. >__< I'm still writing, though, and I hope to have some things done soon... I don't have anything together enough for a preview yet, though! Aiiya. Sorry!

The line in the title of this entry is from the song Mysterious Ways, by U2. It's sort of a fairytale song -- an urban fairtytale, maybe? -- and it's helping me write this next fic I'm working on. Joe Hisaishi's Merry-Go-Round of Life (Instrumental) helps, too. Among other stuff.

It's a little after ten in the morning and I just had breakfast; I'm all full up now (not that I had a nutritional breakfast -- I swear, sometimes I'm like a single 20-yr-old guy), and I would be warm and cozy, except it's very cold here. ;_;

(I'm in southern California; my 'cold' isn't very cold at all, I'm just a wimp who's used to hot temperatures, you know, like 85 Farenheit+.)

So anyway, here's what I've got so far on what I'm writing now, and actually I hope to have it finished by tonight.

Finished writing one thing, working on some others. Still sick, so I'm pretty out of it at the moment. My birthday's on Monday and some friends are coming down tomorrow, so I guess for a little I'll be too busy to be writing much. But we'll see!

Also I'm doing a characterization essay on Mello. Good luck with that, Rin. ._.
